La Lucciola Restaurant started operations in 1993 at the current beachside location in Petitenget, Bali, adjacent to Petitenget Temple (one of the 6 most important Balinese “Directional” Temples). La Lucciola paved the way for many of the restaurants on the island, creating a demand for imported ingredients with its modern Italian menu and evolving wine selection. 2005 saw the addition of the Frangipani Lounge and The Firefly Room, a smart cocktail lounge and private dining room which can cater to groups of up to 40 people and provided a venue where wedding receptions, special birthdays and corporate gatherings could finally be experienced in this quintessential Bali environment.
