Seed Resort, a luxury beachfront resort in Rote is looking for a talented and passionate Candidates as a:

Bookkeeping / Finance Controller (based in Bali)

Requirements:

• Candidates must be at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accountancy / Banking or equivalent.
• Required language (s): Indonesian, English.
• At least 3 Year (s) of working experience in related fields is required for this position.
• Required Skill (s): Microsoft Office, Cost Control, Financial Report.

Principal Accountabilities:

Control

• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
• Manage outsourced functions

Transactions

• Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payable.
• Ensure that accounts receivable are collected promptly.
• Assist processing payroll in a timely manner.
• Ensure that periodic bank reconciliation completed.
• Ensure that required debt payments are made on a timely basis.
• Maintain the chart of accounts.
• Maintain an orderly accounting filing system.
• Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions.
• Control and manage Purchases.

Reporting

• Issues of timely and complete financial statements.
• Coordinate the preparation of the corporate monthly and annual report.
• Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations.
• Calculate and financial and operating issues metrics.
• Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts.
• Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management.
• Provide for a system of management cost reports.
• Providing financial analysis as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.

Compliance

• Coordinate the provision of information for external auditors for the annual audit.
• Monitor debt levels and compliance with debt covenants.
• Comply with government reporting requirements and tax filings.

Systems to utilize

• Xero.
• General knowledge with POS hotel.
• Microsoft office.
