Digital Marketing Manager

Job Scope Summary :

• Manage online tactical marketing initiatives for the hotel.
• Plan and execute marketing campaigns at a property level, enabling more customized and need based marketing.
• Key responsibility is to drive marketing solutions that will improve performance for the various branded websites, online channels and 3rd parties the team represent, individual properties’ overall Revenue and other key financial and customer metrics.
• Workings closings with the Area Field Marketing Manager in your region to ensure strategies are aligned with the region.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

• Experience in online and brand marketing; travel industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of marketing, online marketing required and/or hotel marketing strategies preferred; (preferred experience with online marketing, advertising and finance/budget planning and management).
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge and keen interest in general consumer online trends.
• Comfortable with using online content management and other online tools.
• Intellectual and analytical curiosity – initiative to dig into ‘the why’ of various result.
• Advanced computer skills and detailed knowledge of various computer programs, including a strong profidency of MS Excel and Access. Adobe Photoshop and rudimentary HTML knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent command of English both verbal and written.
• A good team player.

Qualification Standard :

• Education: Tertiary qualification.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in marketing / advertising industry, preferably online.
• Hotel experience is preferred, ideally in Sales, Marketing or Revenue Management.
